Cash was fussing a lot this morning so Johnny laid Cash on his chest. Cash likes laying on Johnny's chest and falls asleep very quickly when he's hanging out there. Today, Cash kept wiggling around in his sleep and eventually ended up laying across Johnny's neck so he was choking Johnny. Johnny moved him back down on his chest, but Cash again wiggled up across Johnny's neck. It was cute and very funny.

Dr Onuigbo
I had my check-up today so had Johnny take a picture of me, Cash & my doctor. Dr Onuigbo was so tickled to see Cash and kept commenting on how big he is now. Cash has doubled his birth weight and is 7 weeks old today. I could not have asked for a better doctor to guide us through this pregnancy and delivery! Dr Onuigbo is a rare gem!

Checking Out A New Doctor For Cash
Since Johnny & I aren't crazy about the clinic we're taking Cash to, we decided to take him to Dr Sims today. Dr Sims is the doctor I had picked to take Weston to but we never made it to the point of actually getting to meet him. I've heard a lot of very good things about Dr Sims, and the twins Mom babysits go to him also. We were very impressed with this doctor and think we'll switch over to him even though our insurance will require us to pay 20% of the visits.
Dr Sims did recommend NOT using the medicated ointment for Cash's diaper rash and also said to stop using the ointment with the zinc oxide as it's probably burning when it gets on that rash. He said to use Neosporin and Vaseline. I will say, Cash hasn't cried when we've put either of those on his bottom and his rash is certainly clearing up which is great!
Dr Sims did agree with Dr Neumann and the home health nurse that we need to wait until Cash has had his immunizations on April 6 before we have him around anyone - and then everyone needs to wash their hands before touching him, so don't be offended when we ask you to wash your hands! :) Only 10 days until his immunizations people! :)
Cash weighed 8 lbs 1 oz on their scale today. He's growing like a weed!!!

7 lbs 13 oz - and a Bad Diaper Rash
Today we took Cash to the doctor for a really bad diaper rash. He weighs 7 lbs 13 oz now! We're supposed to put a medicated ointment on his bottom 3 times a day and the other times we're to use an ointment with zinc oxide in it. Hopefully it'll clear up fast because it looks wicked!

6 lbs 6.5 oz
Today the home health nurse stopped by again. Cash now weighs 6 lbs 6.5 oz. He gained 7 oz in the past four days! Go fat boy!!! :)
Mom & Dad came over today and brought Cash's swing with them. Dad and I put it together then had Cash test-drive it. He seemed to like it at first but then acted like he wasn't sure about it.
