4 Month Doctor Appointment
Cash had his 4 month appointment today. He gained 2.5 lbs in the past 5 weeks and now weighs 13 lbs 12.5 oz putting him in the 30th percentile for his weight on the "regular" baby chart. No more preemie chart for this guy!!! He's in the 10th percentile for his height so he's a little shorty right now but will catch up soon according to his doctor. He did great at his appointment, smiling, playing and "talking" to the nurse and doctor.....until he got his shots. Poor Cash. We did another round of immunizations so he's been sleeping most of the afternoon and evening.
While we were there, we mentioned to his doctor that his head seems to be pretty much always tipped to the left. She is going to have us take Cash to physical therapy so they can show us some stretching exercises to do with his neck. She thinks his neck muscles are probably just stiff on the left side so is fairly confident the physical therapy will help correct it relatively quickly. She is going to re-check him in a month when he goes back for another round of immunizations.

Meeting Great-Grampa Nelson

we went to Mommy's 2nd cousin Britnee's high school graduation party.

Rice Cereal
Cash got to eat rice cereal for the first time today.
It was interesting and exciting. He was hungry
so wasn't at all happy that it wasn't going in faster,
plus he couldn't quite figure it out so had more coming out
his mouth than staying in. He was mad and messy!

Bumbo Time!
Cash has been sitting in his Bumbo chair every day
to work on his neck muscles. He does pretty good but has a
tendency to tip to his left.
