Visiting Our Favorite Allen Ladies

Today we went up to the hospital to visit a couple of our favorite nurses and show them how big Cash is now. Cash also donated some of his preemie clothes to the NICU.

Kris was Cash's favorite NICU nurse....

and Betsy was Mommy's favorite OB nurse!
We were excited to see them and they were tickled to see Cash!

Peas

Cash had peas mixed in with his rice cereal yesterday. He seemed to like them ok. Today he had his peas straight up - no rice cereal to dilute the taste. He made some crazy faces and kept looking at me like he was thinking "why are you feeding this to me???", but he ate his peas until they were about 3/4 gone. Then he started gagging and wouldn't stop. I laughed so hard! Poor Cash. Guess peas aren't his favorite! Daddy doesn't like peas, either.

Cash went to his first truck pull today. Not sure what Dean placed but think it may have been first. ??? Mom, Mindy, Darek, Drake, Cash & I all went. Shawn's buddy from his home brought him down to watch Dean pull, then they walked around the fair for a while playing games.
